Power Cat Rat Trap (Easy to Set)
The Power Cat rat trap has no fiddly catches and is quick and simple to set with just one hand. Unlike traditional rat traps it can be set once it has been placed into position. The Power Cat rat trap comes already baited with a peanut butter food additive.

Rats tend to have established runs usually along the edge of walls rather than across open space. For best effect, therefore, set the traps along walls at right angles to the wall with the treadle (the part that the rat steps on to trigger the trap) closest to it. Alternatively set the traps in pairs, long-ways to the wall, with the treadles facing outwards. Set the traps out of reach of children pets and other non-target animals. Leave the traps outside for a few days to weather before setting them and wear impervious gloves so that the traps do not smell of humans. Rats are cautious animals and will avoid new objects in their environment so do not be discouraged if they are not trapped straight away. If you are confident that the trap is placed where rats are running, avoid the temptation to move it for at least two weeks to allow the animals to get used to it.
