Pest-Stop Mouse/Rat Killer (1kg)

Pest-Stop Mouse/Rat Killer contains 0.005% w/w Difenacoum on a whole grain bait. The product has a unique aniseed attractant for mice. Each pack includes a measuring scoop and glove.

Always read the label. Use pesticides safely

Use with the Protecta Bait Stations selecting the appropriate type for rat or for mouse control, so as to ensure that the bait is protected from children, pets and non-target animals.

FOR RATS: Rats tend to live outdoors or in out buildings. Place the baited stations along rat runs, adjacent to walls. Rats are cautious animals and will avoid new objects in their environment so do not be discouraged if they do not take the bait straight away. If you are confident that the trap is placed where rats are running, avoid the temptation to move it for at least two weeks to allow the animals to get used to it. Once the rats have started to eat the bait inspect the bait stations every few days and replenish the baits until no more baits are taken. At this point remove the bait boxes from site.

FOR MICE: Mice tend to live indoors seeking out warm places. Locate the boxes in dark, warm, undisturbed spots, such as behind refrigerators, and cookers and in airing cupboards. Mice tend to stay close to walls for protection, so place your baits close to the skirting board rather than in the middle of the room. Mice take small amounts of food from many different places.

To eat enough to control the mice they may need to feed from 4 or more different bait points. When dealing with a mouse problem it is essential that several bait stations are placed in each infested room. Once the mice have started to eat the bait inspect the bait stations every few days and replenish them until no more rodenticide is taken. At this point remove the bait boxes.

Dead rats and mice may still contain small quantities of undigested rodenticide which may harm non-target animals. Search the site for rodent bodies and dispose of them by double bagging them and placing in the refuse. Rodents may carry diseases so ensure that you are wearing impervious gloves when checking the baits, places where rats have been and when handling carcasses.
