Flying Insect Trap (10w)

The Pest-Stop Flying Insect Trap is equipped with 2 x 10w U-shaped ultraviolet tubes. These attract most species of flying insect which are then destroyed on coming into contact with 1000v electric grid surrounding the bulbs. The unit comes with a cleaning brush, a 5 ft lead and plug and a hanging chain

Richard's tip - Is effective in keeping down fly numbers in domestic rooms and caravans. Do not hang the units directly above cookers or food preparation surfaces as it is possible that dead flies will fall out of the unit. Do not site near open windows or doors as the Trap may well attract flies indoors.

Over time the level of ultra violet light emitted by the tubes will drop making the trap less effective even though, to the naked eye, the bulbs are still lit.
For maximum effectiveness we recommend that the bulbs are changed once a year, preferably in early spring at the beginning of the fly season.
